ROH Atlas: A Wheel Built Around the Load, Not Just the Look

Most 4x4 wheel ranges start with a design and work backwards to a load rating. The ROH Atlas does the opposite: it's built around a 1500kg load rating across the entire range, then styled to suit the Utes that actually carry that weight. If you're running a canopy, drawers, water, recovery gear and a full-size spare, that distinction matters more than most buyers realise.

Sizes and offsets

The Atlas is currently offered in two diameters, with offset choices aimed squarely at correcting factory geometry rather than just filling guards:

  • 17×9 — available in +12 and +35 offset

  • 18×9 — available in +12, +25 and +35 offset

All Atlas wheels share a 6×139.7 bolt pattern, which covers the vast majority of Utes on Australian roads.

What it fits

The 6×139.7 pattern and offset spread make the Atlas a straightforward fit across:

  • Toyota HiLux, Prado 150 and Prado 250

  • Ford Ranger and Everest

  • Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X

  • Mazda BT-50

  • Mitsubishi Triton and Pajero Sport

  • Nissan Navara

  • Kia Tasman

  • BYD Shark 6

As always, offset and backspacing needs shift once you add a lift, larger tyre, or aftermarket bar work. If you're unsure which spec suits your setup, that's exactly what our fitment team is for.

Finishes

The range is available in four finishes, all carrying a durable, weather-resistant coating designed to handle UV, salt air and trail grime without chalking or fading:

  • Machined Centre, Black Lip

  • Graphite Centre, Black Lip

  • Matte Black

  • Black Centre, Graphite Lip

Why the load rating actually matters

A lot of buyers shop wheels on looks and diameter alone, then find out the hard way that a lighter-duty wheel doesn't love a fully loaded tourer on a corrugated track. Running gear designed around real-world load and impact, not just a showroom spec sheet, is what keeps a wheel round after a few thousand kilometres of outback corrugations rather than after a few hundred.

The Atlas is also designed with generous brake clearance built in, which matters if your vehicle runs upgraded rotors and calipers, or you're planning to down the track. It's worth checking clearance against your specific brake package before ordering, particularly on 17-inch options.

Backed by a lifetime structural warranty

ROH backs the Atlas with a lifetime structural warranty and a three-year finish guarantee, which is a solid position for a wheel pitched at genuine touring and load-carrying use rather than showground duty.

Pairing tyres with the Atlas

A wheel rated for real-world load only performs as well as the tyre bolted to it. When we fit ROH Atlas wheels, we size the tyre to match the intended use: a highway-terrain for daily-driven tourers, an all-terrain for the mixed-use majority, or a mud-terrain where the trips get genuinely rough. Load range matters here too: pairing a 1500kg-rated wheel with an underspecced tyre undoes the whole point of upgrading in the first place.

If you're weighing up sizes, offsets, or which tyre compound suits your Atlas setup, drop into Apex Tyre Solutions or request a quote and we'll spec the full package (wheel, tyre and correct torque and balance) before it goes anywhere near your vehicle.
