ROH Wheels: Australian-Made and Tested for Australian Roads

ROH has been building wheels in Australia since 1946. Nearly 80 years in, the range is still designed and tested locally rather than adapted from an overseas catalogue, which matters once you're running corrugated tracks, red dust, or a loaded Ute on a fleet contract.

How the wheels are made

ROH's LITEFORGED process flow-forms the wheel barrel under heat and pressure at high speed. It's a step up from a standard cast wheel: material gets worked and compressed rather than just poured into a mould, giving strength closer to a forged wheel without the forged price tag.

Every wheel is tested to AS1638, the Australian Standard for light alloy road wheels, and ROH's own testing regularly exceeds the standard's minimums rather than just scraping past them.

Load ratings and sizing

Depending on the model, load ratings run from 1000kg up to 1500kg or more per wheel, so there's headroom for GVM-upgraded Utes and loaded touring rigs, not just showroom-spec vehicles. Sizes span 17, 18 and 20 inch across the range.

Finishes vary by model and include matte black, satin graphite, gunmetal with machined accents, and both simulated and functional beadlock styling, with some models offering bright undercut machining.

The range covers Toyota (HiLux, LandCruiser 70 and 200 Series, Prado), Ford (Ranger, Raptor, Everest), Nissan (Navara, Patrol), Mitsubishi Triton, Isuzu (D-MAX, MU-X), Volkswagen Amarok, Jeep (Gladiator, Wrangler) and RAM 1500. Most Utes and 4x4 wagons on Australian roads have a model that fits.

Built for more than the daily commute

The range is aimed at touring, off-roading, towing, GVM upgrades, and commercial or fleet use, not just weekend showground duty. If your Ute is doing genuine work (a loaded trailer, remote touring, fleet rotation) that's the use case ROH designed around, not an afterthought.
